*Update* Fundraising!!

Lots of things have been happening with the Team India group! First off lets give you a recap! We had our Inside India Fundraiser April 8th and it was a BIG SUCCESS!!! We raised over $3000 that night! Lots of fun and videos to come out soon! Soo with all that said we have officially raise $21,000 of our $40,000 goal!! God has been soo good to us!

Also we have officially bought our PLANE TICKET TO INDIA!!! So things have been happening and we are very excited! Next things on the list are SHOTS and some of use who need our visas!!!

Inside India Fundraiser!

Hello Everyone,
Your invited to our “Inside India Fundraiser” being held on April 8th at 630pm. We would love for you to come out and support! We will be serving an Indian dinner, followed with performances and an auction! Tickets are $15 and all proceeds go to the team! Hope to see you there!!!

Anando Resturant!!

A couple of weeks ago we had the opportunity to meet up with Timothy and Benjamin Shaw at Anando Restaurant! Anando Restaurant is one of the few Benagali restaurant in Toronto. The owner of the Anando was welcoming and extra helpful with our food choices! Above all else the food and fellowship was amazing! We had such a great time meeting with the Shaw boys! We answered questions and also got really excited for our trip there! Take a look at some photos of our lunch outing!

Team Building..

Hello Everyone!
Thus far we have had 2 team meetings. They have been really good an insightful for our preparation for our trip! Our first meeting consisted of a team building exercise were we were divided into 2 teams. We had to build a tent BLIND folded with 1 voice or a leader. This taught us a lot about team work and the challenges that may arise! Take a look at a few photos from that meeting!

Our second meeting consisted of learning to be prepared and ready for ministry. For example preparing to minister at a church “last minute”, we needed to be able to think on the spot! This taught us about preparation, being sensitive to the culture and TEAM WORK!! We also had a wonderful prayer time with each other! We had such a good time, that time literally flew out our hands! Take a look at some photos below!!

In the coming weeks we have videos to share with you. I am also working on profiling one member a week, so you can get to know them!

Our first fundraiser!!!!

So it begins! This Sunday we had the opportunity to go in front of our church to introduce the Team and our mission! We dressed up in traditional Indian clothing. We also stood outside of the sanctuary after both services with vases to collect change! Members of our church were so gracious and encouraging! Please take the opportunity to view the photos below of our first successful fundraiser! Also please don’t hesitate to contact Pastor Ben for more donations!
